Christmas trees........You Filthy buggers

what do you prefer ?

we normally have a fake christmas tree, due mainly to the cats/dog knocking it over every couple of minutes :bang:

But i love the feel / smell of a real tree

Fake all the way, hoovering needles everyday sucks

satisfaction of spending 2 hours choosing one without defects and cutting it down in the freezing cold only to find it wont fit in the car!

I really love real but i rarely buy one

The needles all over the place is a big deal for me.

In an ideal world...real, as said you can't beat the smell the pomp & ceremony of dressing the tree after you've gone & purchased it from somewhere but I can understand how some do fake so much easier etc. Ironically we don't bother with a tree any more. I'm of a certain age & find better things to do with my time....

Truth is when I was a nipper, we had the tree, but my childhood was very strict & my Father only had the tree because my Mother insisted. So years later I'm married with kids & I used to go overboard with all that was Christmas. Kind of done that worn the tee shirt. Now years later again, bah! humbug, I've turned into my Father We do make an effort for the Grand children.....

real, smells awesome, looks the ******** and the needles don't fall off these days that much.

Fake for me with a pine air freshner then pack it away and get it out the next year for free
