The biggest problem I've noticed recently is people can't afford to fill up and put £20 in here and there. Eighteen month to two years ago that £20 would have got you between two hundred and two hundred and fifty miles, now you'll be lucky to get one hundred and seventy five miles on £20 worth of petrol.
To give you a perspective when I first started driving my first car was an 1988 Panda Bianca that cost £26.80 to fill from running out on the forecourt. I haven't ran out in the Fantasia as yet but it cost me £43.00 to fill the car from empty the other day.
