Yeah , white looks nice but if I were about to buy a white car , I'd have done it 2 or more years ago.Nowadays , it has become the fashion victim's car color!at least were I live..Every new car is being advertised in white no matter what category it belongs to (well ok , not the vans) and that really made me disgust it.Also , why the heck did they stop the orange???It was the prettiest of all...Concerning yellow , I believe that the GP is too big for it.It look great on the MK1/2 puntos or on the 500 but GP??It'd look like a taxi!

I had 2 white cars and the problem with them is you get a bit of rain and the crap off of the roads makes them look like rally cars almost instantly :( Same with black I found.

I agree - they can look the dog's knackers (see - being good as I have seen recent comments on swear filter evasion ), but only on a higher spec car. If you have white on a basic model it more resembles a small van :( I also had a white Rover :yuck: Wouldn't believe that I am in my 20s :ROFLMAO:

I agree with idaho1 though. Black is impossible to keep clean, but it is the most menacing colour for a sports car I think.

I think it has a lot to do with modern paints. The new whites on fords or audis or VWs etc. Is a really brilliant ice white, where as previously nearly all whites were off-whites as well as being quite dull. Unless it's that sort of ice-white it doesn't do it for me.

no it's not, can't think of any sports cars which look best in black!?

I didn't say "best" in black... I said menacing (or imposing if you like). Just because I think they look most menacing, it does not necessarily mean they look best in it.

Anyway - depends what you term as a sports car. I'm not on about your Lambos or Astons anything - but Focus ST (imposing in black, best in orange...), Corsa VXR (black is nice and menacing and I think best suited to this car), new shape Type R (nice and mean looking in black although I think, god help me, red looks kind of cool on one).

I saw a yellow one in Rochdale. It wasn’t broom yellow though much paler. Thought they didn’t do it in yellow?

I agree with this white is a nice colour these days.

Maybe the owner had it resprayed to what they wanted? Or perhaps the paint was defective and had faded massively lol. I don't think I'd want a yellow car.

I went for white, as thats what i'm getting, but it only looks good in white if its the Sporting with Two Tone alloys, the one i test drove was black with the Two Tones and i was starting to regret my choice of white, but after looking at it in white again and thinking that black is £300 and something more, im happy... I think.... lol

"Grande Punto Sport in Caribbean Orange"... OR "The poor man's Lamborghini" !!!!! Rare colours are the best...which means caribbean orange and yellow!! I think the only reason Fiat made limited production of orange and yellow was because they wanted to make them rare enough to differ!! And i think they succeded!! ;)
