First thing I did when I got home on Thursday with the new Bravo was get out the drivers door, walk round the to the rear of the car, and took off the Arnold Clark sticker!

And will be getting new plates at the weekend to remove his advertising from my car altogether! :)

No other Fiat dealers for around 50 miles...and I was carless because my Mk1 Punto Sporting eventually died on me back at the start of April!

Plus I have friends who work for Uncle Arnold...so got a really good deal, minus the warranty issue!

I always swore I would never buy another car from Arnold Clark 8 years ago when they sold me a Bravo SX as an HLX and charged me more money until I realised I had been conned! Obviously in my less car-wise days!

yeah thats all I've ever known them to do!

The Fiat dealership has been there a few years now, but seriously wouldnt have anything to do with them at all! heard Waaaaaay too many stories about dodgy sales...and even more dodgy mechanics!

i left on the dealership sticker i got with my car but if it ever coems i'll be replacing it with my Fiat Forum Sticker :slayer:

First thing I did when I got the Stilo was take off the back sticker :D

I also took off the tax disk holder and replaced it with a Richbrook one. Used to have a Ripspeed one on the Punto, but you had to remove screws to get at the damn tax disk. Richbrook one, you just twist it.

Still to remove the dealer marked plates though, complete with rusty screws on the front. That was one of the first things I did to the Punto, mainly down to them disintegrating somewhat.

Anyway, shall soon pop some FF stickers on the side windows (y)

As with most of you I take of all the Dealer stickers within a few days of buyng a car,
BUT... When I buy a car I prefer it to have the original stickers in place! Just makes me feel as though the car has been looked after properly :)

(if that makes any sense!!)

and stick them back on when you trade it in so you'll hopefully get more £££ ;)

Fortunately, back then, my Tempra came with no sticker, the only advertisement is on the plate older but that doesn't make me going crazy ;)
If I would have to buy a new car, I would ask for no sticker!!

Take the dealers stickers & badges off why should you advertise for them they get enough money out of you as it is, as for plain number plates in my area in North London the police(n) are stopping cars that have got no markings on the plate ie: dealer name or a shop where it was made cos of the wan**ers that are making there own plates with no name on them or actully nicking them off cars to beat the conjestion charge or to steal petrol from garages, so when I had mine made up I ask the guy in the shop to make the name of the shop as small as possable, as he dose them on a computer he could do this. least I can say to the coppers there is a name on it:nerner:

Thats bull**** tbh, May as well have your telephone number and address on your plate lol

Oh sorry lol should have been clearer:eek:

Ment the fact that police pulling people over if the numberplate didnt say the dealers name on it. It's not exactly a law requirement!

Thats O.K mate I missread your post most proberly :bang: derr
but according to new M.O.T requarments I was told by a tester you must have a shop or dealer name and a TP BASU number or something on your plate because of what is going on ie: terrorisom and what I siad its so police can find dodgy number plates, thats what he got told it could be bo**lox he did'nt know either.
