I knew from the day I owned my Bravo.
Reason: My sister owned a Punto a few years ago with a problem where the battery was being drained. The daft bint was leaving the ignition in the park position everytime she got out of the car!!!!

i found out a while ago about somebody saying there sidelights wouldnt go off lol

I wonder if its possible to add the Follow me home lights when you unlock and lock the car?

As i think it'd be benificial to me :)

I'm not sure of a way to do that, when you get out set the follow me home thing and then lock as normal and they go off after a bit.

well i be b**gered, i was only saying to wifey a day or two ago i'm surprised the punto hasn't got parking lights, as didn't the cinqy

as a safety feature, i'm not sure if its a legal requirement on cars or not, but was disappointed it wasn't there. although hardly ever neededit.

do like the way it turns me lights off with ignition though.

thought that button was for key release, and thought both cars had worn it out as not needed.

got to go, off out to driveway to play with my new found knowledge (y)

cheers mate, IT WORKS. just a shame you can't use left or right with indicator like most brands, never mind, chuffed to have found them with your pointer. nice one.

Glad to have been of help, 8 years ago :)

Even my bikes back in the 1970s had the parking light feature. Turn the key left and remove to put side lights on but ignition is locked. VWs and Audis will light the left or the right side lights if you leave the indicator on when you turn off the ignition and remove the key. Does the same job but 1/2 the battery drain.
