I know I said it before but the only way you can judge is to see the real thing, don't understand your reluctance.

You can't take any photo as 100% what the colour will be like, any metallic will look completely different when it catchs the light.

yeah because the dealerships are really helpful i went in and asked about the colours and all he did is give me a brochure (useless).

actual photo's are the next best thing, might go back next week and try again for some decent sample though before i order

I would've expected dealers in your area were fairly large and would have a lot of examples in stock but obviously not. If the one you're going to isn't being helpful go elsewhere, if you're going for one of the more 'unusual' colours you really want to see it for real before putting your money down. Mine's the dark grey and I haven't seen a single pic that really shows it as it is and that should be the easiest to represent.
