As we don't get any of the more interesting models from mainland europe in the UK, does anyone know if we can import a model into the UK? I'm thinking of a diesel 4x4 variety? Don't care that its left LHD can put up with that. Wonder what the cost would be? I saw a diesel 4x4 (green in colour) for sale in autotrader a little while back.

I'd be tempted to try Belgium or Spain first, prices seem very good over there and dealers often speak English. The models over on Le Continent may not have as high a spec interior as you are used too, I've seen diesel 4x4 Pandas in France with <gasp> non electric door mirrors... It's relatively easy to buy a car in Spain now and drive it back...
