How come when you set this option in the menu, the doors lock as you get moving but don't unlock when you stop? Is this a fault or a feature? I was expecting it to work like a London taxi.

The doors dont unlock when you stop to prevent someone from "car jacking" getting into the car while you are sitting at traffic lights and threatening you with a gun or knife to get out of the car. I had this feature on my old Lincoln Towncar when I lived in Illinois USA, it made driving through downtown Chicago a bit safer....lol...I never imagined that a car like the Panda would have features like this....the automatic dipping headlights would be a useful thing though :slayer:

You can simply disable it from the trip computer options. I forgot which menu it was, but I am sure you will find it if you play around.

I understand this feature is known as "ghetto locking" .... and assume it's not available on my Active (basic) model, with no computer on the dash. I've central locking, but have to push the driver's door release handle toward the door to lock them all. My Vectra has ghetto locking and I do like the feature - particularly when the missus is out alone in the car.
Can this be enabled on an Active model? anyone?
Doug
