I have a fiat panda 2003 and the car alarm goes off by itself when its locked but mostly when im driving really annoying ! does any one know why ?

I would like to disable it, can it be unplugged from inside under the dashboard ?

AFAIK, mine has not got an OEM alarm. If yours is aftermarket you'll need to talk to the manufacturer or even better remove the thing.

Well sometimes it will go off twice a day and sometimes it wont go off for a week ! but its mostly 10 min after ive unlocked it and im in the middle of driving ! is there a way to unplug it from inside ?

Do you have a separate fob to activate/deactivate the alarm? AFAIK, they didn't come with one from the factory, just the immobiliser.

I think I was told that the 2003-2012 Fiat Panda was never offered with a factory fitted alarm.. and I’m yet to hear of anyone’s smooth experience with an aftermarket one :-/

You need to find out if it's aftermarket (it probably is TBH). If so you'll need an auto electrician to remove it. They are more rouble than they are worth.

That said, I had one in an Austin Montego - a car notoriously easy to steal. I put the alarm and siren high up in the passenger footwell. When it went off you could not sit in the car. The car was broken into and moved about 30 ft. Tea leaves fled leaving the doors open.

Only with a capital R and I believe the Rouble is still legal tender.
