Hi all first post here.

I've just bought a 2008 multijet and the wife has one small complaint (what, only one I hear you say !!)

When she is driving it the seat belt rubs her neck.

I've found an adjuster on ebay for a 2004 height adjuster but it doesn't specify that it fits my model.

Does anyone know if it is just a bolt on replacement?

I have height adjustable seat belts. You'll probably need a few bits from the donor car for fitting them including the plastic trim and the ratchet movements. It won't look too good without the plastic trim in my opinion. See a photo of what mine looks like in place.

Sorry, not the exact answer you wanted but many use harness pads on the seat belt to get around this issue.

They're awful and don't help at all in my opinion.

That's why I spent the extra £85 to have the proper adjusters factory fitted in mine.

Have you considered a "Klunk Klip". They sell them on 'the bay of e'.

It clips on the upper seatbelt mount. About £7. I've had one in my Active Blu for years, I actually inherited it on my first ever Panda and have taken it from Panda to Panda over the past decade.

It does not affect the seatbelt operation. It just allows you to lock the belt a wee bit further for comfort. The seatbelt will still lock in the event of sudden slowing down

A small price to pay to keep Domestic Management happy :)

Well I took the plunge and ordered it. At 10 quid it's no big deal if it doesn't fit but the info might be useful to others if it does.

I'll update when it arrives although I haven't even picked the car up yet from my Bil' s garage.

I usually run bangers consisting of whatever he has lying about at the time. Last one was a Y reg Corsa which lasted 3 years. This Panda is a 2008 model with 72k on the clock.
