Hi Guys,
apologies as I suspect this has probably been covered before but I'm running out of time (and have just spent about 1 hour searching the net AND my post disappeared just now arrgh)

I gather I have a dodgy clutch master cylinder.
The clutch pedal stuck down yesterday (thought I was going home on the back of a truck- then helpful ex mechanic in next car in carpark just pulled it up! ha) and it's been squeaking for some time.

Where is the best place to source a master cylinder (or any parts!) please? I've just been searching for an hour with no luck.

Poor old Pandy is falling apart. 2005 4x4 with 56k on the clock. (Brilliant car!) the silencer is held together with wire (waiting for new one to arrive), I disconnected the boot central locking the other day as it was going doolally and now this....

Many many thanks in advance for any help (and your patience! ;-) )

Are you sure it is the master cylinder? Symptoms described can also be knackered clutch plate/cover/thrust bearing combo.
Either way try Shop4parts. (If donated forum member then don't forget 10% discount) Master cylinder is about £100 if I remember correctly.

Squeaky pedal action and sticking down is master cylinder. Did mine 18 months ago (might be earlier, memory ..)
See this thread: https://www.fiatforum.com/panda/451103-clutch-master-cylinder.html
Link on second post is described as slave, but is a master, and at £25 is a good price.
Master for Panda or 500 will work. 500 comes without reservoir and is a lot cheaper, but is otherwise same part.
Don't get a Twinair one, seems to be different.

Thanks guys!!!

Best price online so far has been £86 (shop 4 parts) but I need to check if it's correct... and worst has been £135 even mentioning Fiat Forum - but that's a definitely genuine Fiat part..

After attempting to change calipers and discs on an MX5 I fear bleeding fluids is not my forte, cough, so have asked local helpful garage to quote. It's a bit different when it's your everyday car too! ...and not a spare ....

I just tried to check the part number with the Leicester dealer..... Shan't be bothering to do THAT again....and certainly won't be buying from them now or in the future.

Our 100hp clutch started squeaking and the pedal stuck down. It was the slave cylinder.

Just to add that to the mix :D
