2007 Panda 100hp in red. Colour code states 199 - Rosso Faccia Da Schiaffi.

Can anyone confirm the colour name and does anyone know if its a singe stage paint? i.e without a clearcoat?

Where as I had a green Punto and that was blue paint with a gold coat on the top.

I am guessing that after a certain date fiat changed to a paint system with a high gloss finish to save money.

You could check for clear coat by using a little bit of polish. If the cloth goes red, then there's no top coat. If it doesn't, there is.

My yellow has a clear top coat on it so I can't bring the colour back up on it. Considering a full respray.
