Hello, im trying to DIY a breather pipe for my 1.2 dynamic 2008, since they apparently are made of "GOLD" here in denmark (way to expensive). original breather pipe from valve cover to airbox, has a small hose going to inlet manifold, is it possible to bypass, so it only goes to airfilter box.

But if you do ,you may have to clean the throttle plate(butterfly valve) periodically.
Oil film may build up on throttle plate over time.
Carb cleaner spray will do this.
Make sure to plug open end of small hose.

Just checked our crankcase/intake breather pipe (the narrower one) and it's badly perished and split. £10 seems a lot of glue - anyone else seen cheaper (and preferably silicon)?

£10 looks very reasonable to me as it's real fiat part and will save a lot of time faffing around.
Or go to a motor factor and get a hose the correct diameter and cut it to the length you want.

Use the genuine fiat part number and do a search on your home country eBay? Maybe save postage costs.

I live a few miles from Partsworld and they don't offer discount if I nip and fetch parts from there(!).


I figured someone might work in a school and would throw a bit of Bunsen-burner pipe my way. Classic.
