Hi, everyone. Had a bit of trouble with heavy steering this morning. Started the car and pulled off, no power steering. Warning light was on so I pulled over. A quick inspection found nothing obvious wrong, started the car again, no problem this time.
Having looked on here,seems to be a common problem. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?.

Power related most likely battery or slipping aux belt.


Fair few thread on this and how to check the battery.

Get the battery tested then buy one on eBay. Avoid the little cube type. They cost more and offer less capacity.
