Hi guys,

The 100HP clutch is making a fair bit of noise. Very audible externally.

I need to look under the bonnet to be honest.

Anyone else have this?

Thanks

How any miles? How easy is the pedal action and gear shift?

My Punto did this and a few weeks later I couldn't get any gears.

It's likely to be that you need a new clutch.

Hi.

My 1.2 Panda is exactly the same. I sorted it by putting some grease on the clutch pedal piston. Apparently it's common on Fiat/Alfas from what I've read/seen.

Matt.

I believe the OP means that the actual clutch within the gearbox bell housing is noisy..

hence the "LOUD EXTERNALLY" quote,
and the reply about a complete failure shortly after;)

in fairness I've only had the 1 x "squeaky pedal box" - so @3% failure rate - not so bad.

At end of life the Fiat clutch gets heavy to use and can feel like the something inside is bending. Eventually you either can't select gears or the pressure plate fails which I guess is the same thing.
