Can anybody tell me where the heater fan resister is located on my 05 Panda.

Up above the pedals and behind the clocks. It's an absolute bitch to get at. Changing it will require lying in the footwell, having long bendy arms and lots of cursing and possible loss of blood!

The last one I did (not on a Fiat) was so bad for access, it was easier to extend the wires out to a remote mounted resistor. If you choose that option be sure to fit it where it can't over heat adjacent stuff. Power resistors get very hot.

Yep, well hidden, long bendy arms needed with eyes on the end of a least a couple of fingers.
Lucky for me this has been done before and only one bolt was used to hold it in. Once done however it was very satisfying to have the hater blow working properly.
Hopefully new owner will appreciate the effort.
