Hi everyone. I'm on my 2nd Panda now. Previous was an '06 Eleganza, which I replaced the stereo with a standard fascia adaptor and easy-to-find ISO aerial adaptor.

However, my new 2014 Panda (Lounge model, without Blue&Me) has got me stuck. I want to replace the factory stereo with a single DIN stereo with DAB & Bluetooth functions, but for the life of me I can't find anywhere online a set of ISO connectors for the new model Panda. Also can't seem to find the wire keys to remove it. All the internet brings up is the fascia adaptor.

So does anyone know if these connectors are actually needed? If so do you know where I can find them? And the keys also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys! :)

You can get the DIN keys from Halfords.

Have you considered fitting a booster amplifier and keeping the OEM head unit?

Bear in mind that a standard DIN head unit is shouting STEAL ME when the car is parked.

Hi, thanks a lot for the reply.

Thanks for the DIN keys suggestion.

I don't really worry about the 'stealability' of the single DIN unit as it won't be an expensive one, pretty basic really, just with the added functions of having bluetooth, DAB & a USB socket, which is what I put in my old '06 Panda and had for a few years.

I'm afraid I don't know what a booster amplifier is or what it does. But if there's a way of keeping the factory stereo and converting it to have Bluetooth for music streaming and phone link-up, I would keep it. But I can't justify the cost of going to Fiat and having a 'Blue&Me' system retro-fitted a extortionate costs when a new single DIN unit with all the functions I need will come in at around £100, with £30 fitting at Halfords.

Do you know if an ISO harness is needed for the new Panda? I can't find anything online.

Thanks a lot for your advice :)

You really should worry about theft. Its not only the cost of the head unit but damage the bar stewards do to your car. They don't care about damaged paint, chewed dashboard or ripped seats.

You must fit at least a face off unit but even better an extractable unit. The question is what do you do with the stuff when you are down the pub? You leave it fitted (like any normal person) "just this once" and that's when it's gone and your car is damaged.

Post some questions on the ICE section. They actually do know what they are talking about. Maybe a used Fiat Blue&me system will fit. I've no idea but the guys on there will know.

Thanks Phil. It might be what I need, but I'm worried that because it says it's for Panda's 2007+, it may only be for the MK2, as the head units are different after 2012 for the MK3. Possibly there's only one way of finding out! Just need to buy it and see!

Cheers :)

Or you could always ask the seller.
