The breather pipe on my 100HP has cracked so am planning on getting a breather filter from BMC (to match the BMC CDA Haha) and a replacement 90° silicone hose.

Does anyone know what diameter the standard breather is to were it connects to the top if the engine?

Breather filters just throw out a stink of oily unburnt fuel. Feed it back under the air filter. Why do anything else? Doing it properly costs nothing in performance.

To find the hose size, measure the spigot it fits onto.

Only problem with fitting a replacement pipe is going to be in the future it'll just split again as it has to twist due to the BMC

Don't mind having the smell of oil really either Haha!

Also, does anyone know the diameter of the throttle where the hosing connects onto? Running out of time to get it all apart to measure it...

My Panda is a 2007. No signs of any splitting on the engine breathers or any other hoses for that matter. If you don't want OEM, get some silicone hoses but breather filters are nothing more than a cheap bodge.

Technically, the breather filters aren't really legal as they vent dodgy gases. You might get failed on an MOT for it.

You also might find it runs badly as it'll be expecting the mix from there to be drawn into the intake.

Feeding the gas through the engine does not spoil performance and might even improve it slightly. It's cheap, simple and costs nothing but a bit of rubber hose. I have no idea why anyone would want to do anything else.

ASH sell silicone hoses and joiners in all sizes. All you have to do is remove the air filter box and measure the pipe. Really - how hard can it be?

Fiat sell the correct hose- check with Shop4parts and don't forget your FF discount.
