i'm happy with the price...life time guarantee on all parts of it
the hardest part to do was the back box as the bend that comes in to the rear of the silencer is very close to the rear spring, standard silencer is offset where the pipe enters it, this is'nt

Going the simpler/cheaper route, has anyone got any thoughts on one of these (see pic) for a straight section solution?

Supersprint do a sports manifold and underfloor catalyst. It wont do much for performance without a remap, tuning box or maybe a Lambda shifter.

I got the magnetti straight section on eBay from Italy and then ordered a backbox direct from UlterSport in Poland just before Christmas, so I reckon they are still available.

Bizarrely they both arrived in the same delivery van in the depths of rural N Ireland.

Rob,

motor-doctor.co.uk have a MAGNETI MARELLI 000202114005 MIDDLE SILENCER which uses the same pic as Magneti Marelli Central Exhaust SS500C. Can you remember if the part number above is the same as the SS500c?

Well after much hunting the internets all over Europe I've given up anyone still having in stock the MAGNETI MARELLI (000202114005) MIDDLE SILENCER SS500C.

Might go for a Supersprint Centre pipe (STEEL 409).

Would this not require a remap though?

The engine ECU controls fuel flow according to the O2 exhaust sensor signals so a remap is not compulsory. That said, a remap will get the best out of any engine mods. Alternatively use a "remap box" for cars that can't be mapped.

I do remember going to a car show with a mobile rolling road testing the boy racer car. Amazing just how many horse that are lost by some bolt on parts?
