Since the new year we've driven far and wide in the Panda. In January to remote rural parts of Ireland Malin Head and Malin Beg. And many more places in between. It's certainly serving us well. Despite the cold and frosty nights and mornings it's started up without hesitation, kept us too warm in the minus degrees and gotten us out of situations we damn well shouldn't have put it in in the first place... Namely sand ruts and muddy roads only accustomed to Defenders.. The left wing mirror has also had an unfair number of clips and run ins with untrimmed hedges along lanes time forgot.. But all in the spirit of adventure. I still love this car as much as the day I got it.

Between all of that and trying to pass exams, there hasn't been much time to wash the car inside or out. But now with the good weather there's no excuse for the Panda to sit with dust and grit all over it.

Everybody is out waxing their Audis, Hondas, and other more premium cars than myself so I'm not representing us Fiat fans very well.. It's time for a spring clean.

Wash and Turtle Wax goes without question. Some attention to the wheel trims with a fine brushing too always makes a good difference.

She's holding her coolant and oil remarkably well and I'm starting to feel like all the small tedious seals and gaskets are paying for themselves. A top up of the screen wash of course is on the list.

Cleaning the wiper blades with vinegar like substances seems to super clean them.

The tyres show good tread and no cracks thankfully.

The seats inside are looking particularly grotty. They've gotten dirty with dust etc and are already suffering from cotton balls etc. Not sure how to sort them out anymore.

A Hoover and hard brush scrub if the mats normally goes a long way! They were £14 well spent.

I normally use fairy liquid and a cloth over all the hard plastics to keep everything clean and fresh.

I don't even need to use air freshener anymore, the car just stays fresh now with no nasty smells. Thankfully this past few days in high temperature confirmed this!

Am I missing anything?

Here are some pictures of the Panda from various expeditions of the north coasts of Ireland:
