4 separate injectors.
Single point injection disappeared as emissions regs tightened. I think EuroIII may be the change, but could be earlier.
Seicento changed from single to multi around late 2003 I think. That is probably a significant date for all engines.

Thanks for the info about the Panda, makes sense now you say it about the regs on emissions coming in a few years ago.

Think it was a little earlier as my other half​'s 51 plate seicento sporting was mpu. Here v reg sporting was spi (until it was turbocharged).

Think the 899cc seicento S became 1108cc possibly tieing it in with mpi and emissions tier change...

The spotting mpi is £180 a year to tax... how much would the SPI version have been if it were taxed by CO2?
