Technical Steering nut

Technical Steering nut

I assume you mean the one under the airbag on the top of the column. (Not the one holding the steering wheel - sorry no offence intended).
Sorry, not about to remove my airbag to confirm, but I think it was a 24mm. But why do you think you need a new one? It should be reusable. If you know it is damaged, you must be looking at it, so could surely just measure it?

New one, I suppose is Fiat only.
My ePER says:
Was 60813475
Then 46411890 M16 x 1.5 £2.46 2 years ago.
Now 51903821 96p 2 years ago. (age of my ePER)

If it is really that cheap from Fiat, get one then get the socket to fit.

M16 may help determine probable spanner size.

Thank you, I need to take the wheel off to replace one of the stalks and after unclipping the airbag realised I might need a new nut but forgot to measure it before putting the airbag back on.

I can just imagine the conversation that might take place across the parts counter:

"Have you got the nut that goes behind the steering wheel on a Mk3 Panda please?"

"No sir, Fiat expect the purchaser of the car to supply their own".

Who are you calling a steering nut?:D 100Hp's are supposed to be driven like that...

If you use the right socket (preferrably hexagonal) a breaker bar with a looong extension on it and get another person to hold the steeringwheel (don't use the steeringlock), The nut should be reusable.

I'm a bit paranoid about things like that, for the small cost I'd rather replace it.
