Hi guys,

First post and I know I should really do introductions. My previous motors include a Fabia VRS, BMW M3, Z4M and so on.

I have always wanted a 100 Bhp Panda since I saw the reviews won 5th gear. M3 was sold last week and now I am after something cheap, practical and fun to fill the void.

I have seen the motor below advertised. It seems fairly modified with a custom exhaust and so on.

Do any of you know of it?

Doesn't look like one of the regulars. Make sure you go for a decent ride, specially over road bumps.

It was for sale in February this year at BS Marson & Sons in newcastle for £3495.

Looked like this then:




I don't specifically know the car, or it's history, but it looks like it's been turned from Standard into modified, done 8k or so, and then sold on in a short amount of time.

MOT has rear discs as an advisory.

Saw it on a few weeks back when I was looking on AT, but I was put off by the low quality photos. Things I observed:

- Front left is a Rainsport 3, so could have decent tyres all round.
- Looks like it has Flyeye/tinted front lights
- Abarth badges have been added
- Pink edged mats suggest female owner
- Team Heko wind deflectors have been added
- Aftermarket exhaust, as you say
- Reg was P5 RSA a few years back

Thanks Chuff, I just find it weird its on so cheap compared to the other Panda's out there. You don't think its dodgy or anything?

I have also seen this one which is very local to me. I just never considered a white one before. Looks brilliant to be fair

Looks very nice. Pandamonium pack on that one too.


The first one isn't cheap, really. They've dropped a lot in price of late.

On eBay, most have struggled to hit £1500 - can get one under £2k easily, but might have to go higher to get a mint low miler

Thats makes this "Turbo Abarth" look like a great bargain. Obviously, the paint scratch will polish out, alloy wheels are not expensive and the chassis is perfectly straight.

It would have been cheap 6 months ago, but a Cat D 100hp with half that mileage fully repaired has struggled to get more than £1500 for months.

Don't get me wrong, they are selling for more - and quite rightly, when they're good examples. The cheap ones seem to not be cheap enough in comparison, though.

I ended up buying one this week, will be picking it up after a full MOT / Service and Valet.




Its had the cooperman mod already done to it, so it might have been someones car on here.

I saw that one back when I was looking.

Was confused a bit about the leather, though (still am!)

What put you off it mate? Yeah the leather seems to have been an after thought. Must have been re-trimmed.

I was ideally after a Black one (which I bought in the end), but it puts me off when the reg is concealed in ads. Makes it harder to do all the research and checks prior to viewing.

Those white roof bars are unusual.

Not really. Just call (not email) the seller. You can tell a lot from how they answer questions.
