I have a garage - No need for that type of thing!

Mind you I did have a new radiator and thermostat fitted a few months ago so he got new antifreeze then too.

Don't think I need much more than that.

Its worth giving the engine bay a good spray with ACF-50. It stops fasteners losing their zinc plating and generally protects everything from the effects road salt.

And get some glycerine or Krytox. Rub all the door seal rubbers with it.
Stops them sticking when it gets frosty.

Panda door seals seem to stick more easily than most, I've found.

Check the radiator for sign of leaks (cooling fins rotted away and pinhole coolant stains). It might be fine but all those signs mean its heading out and might let you down. No need to panic or get paranoid, but do check it regularly for even the slightest drop in coolant level.

Watch the charge light after starting or heavy use of steering just after starting. If the light is staying on for longer you might have a failing battery or (heaven forbid) the alternator is getting weak. Again forewarned is fore-armed.

You can check it with City mode as that really pulls on the electrical system.

As previously said the radiator is less than a year old so no concerns there.

Slight glitch last week. Oil leak wasn't quite repaired as first thought. However Donnelly's at Mallusk gave him some tlc (and a new sump free of charge :D) so all is very good again. The wee lad even got a wee 500 model given to him when I was picking Dez up! (y)
