Wondering if anyone knows where I can find this? The clip on it gave out and we've a makeshift solution until I can source a new joint. It goes from the bottom of the radiator to the Coolant pipe network.

Thanks. Bloody raging more money needs spend on a seemingly simple radiator replacement.

SB1500 Yes item number 232089878352 on eBay. Or type panda coolant hose into eBay search bar. I bought one. There is some on there for £9 if you keep looking. The bit that says let's see if this fits your car said no it doesn't to me but I bought it anyway and although I haven't yet fitted it it looks like it will to me as I've offered it up to the original part and it's the same.
Why the put that silly pipe fitting on the car I do not know.

I never priced it. The febi part is looks a quality part. If you go to fiats make it clear that it's the joint with the 90 degree bend in it as when shop4parts sent me the parts diagram it showed a straight joint. The eBay listing shows the fiat part number.

Going to order that if Fiat quote me a rip off price and / or local motor factors can't get it in by Friday for around £20 or less.

I went on ePER, put the VIN of my car in and it showed the part number for this so it must fit!

Will definitely specify the bent joint. The one you mention I think is the upper radiator hose as it seems to have a straight joint going by the diagrams?

No there's also a straight joint listed for the 1.2 for the lower radiator outlet with the same type of fitting but it's straight. I started a thread about it about 6 weeks ago called "help naming part".
At least you have the part number etc to order the correct part.

The clip was damaged and whatever way it works we couldn't get it back into holding properly.

We had the car built back up and as we were pouring in antifreeze it was dripping from that joint :-(

There also is a minor crack on the inside of the joint, which itself could be leaking.

Still awaiting the replacement part in the post, eBay sellers sometimes like to lie about their keenness to dispatch (n)

Sorry you've had yet another hassle and totally agree about so many slow eBay sellers. I was looking up a suspension top mount for my Espace. Located Wakefield, delivery estimated 31st October (today is the 24th). Snail mail second class would be here by Thursday.

I might be a bad person, but due to the fact I paid for 24 hour shipping and it didn't come until Monday - thus losing out on a lot of events and life plans that depended on the car - and got 2nd class shipping, I told them it never came at all and got a full refund...

Don't get why someone would go through the hassle of running a business and fail to give the utmost customer service that they could so easily achieve.. well, not at my expense.

Part is in now, and I'm just letting air bleed out each time I drive. Sometimes the antifreeze is just over the MIN mark and other times its snuggly at MAX. Heaters, like a firey inferno! Temp guage, at most gets to half way, which is normal.

Wondering if squeezing the pipe is letting more air IN to the system when the bleed screw is loose?

Need to be sure the process is done, and done right before deciding whether or not the antifreeze is holding healthily or if a problem still exists.

TBH I don't blame you. It never came in the time frame paid for ;)

That's it like,

I mean, lots of times on eBay I go into the listing and it says "Doesn't Ship to Northern Ireland" which fair enough, is quite transparent.

Their defence was "We can not find a courier who will ship 24hr to Northern Ireland" so I was like, well why did your listing guarantee that you could and allow me to pay for said service?!

Fight fire with fire alright!

Think they blocked me to avoid the negative feedback, its gone from my purchase history anyway!

Quite likely.
Don't squeeze the hose.
Run engine until stat opens, so system is starting to pressurise. Then open bleed screw, allowing it sown system pressure to force the air out. When coolant emits steadily, without bubbles, tighten bleed screw.
I think there are two bleed screws, one on the rad, the other on a heater hose.

Possibly gone from purchase history following refund. With a full refund, you haven't now 'purchased' one.

I'm getting nice hot air out the vents now, but as Dozer said I'm also doing it everytime I'm done with the car.

I normally shut it off and release the bleed screw until it stops hissing.

I took Portland_Bills advice just there now however as I opened it to bleed it while the system was running.

Then, shut it off and opened the screw again - minor hissing.

Not sure if it was caused by the fact I had just shut the engine off, but I could visually see the coolant rise up from just over MIN to almost at MAX.

Going to keep bleeding it until the hissing stops completely, am I right to think it has to stop eventually?

Bleed with engine running, so coolant is circulating by the pump.
If you bleed with engine shut off, coolant is still, so hot spots in engine, especially in head, will boil the coolant at that point. That will create more vapour, and cause the level to rise as it expands.

Once bled properly, should not need doing again. If it continues to need it, there is a leak that needs finding and fixing.

portland_bill it's hard to tell if there's air coming out with the engine running. But the past few days I've been doing that with the engine running.

How far do I take the screw out? A few times I've taken it out fully but not sure if that's the correct way to go about it.

And once complete, should coolant be coming out of the bleed cap?

Still think I'm getting air but it's hard to tell
