i bought a fiat panda 1.3D multijet year 2005. i want to service the car. is there a way of knowing if the oil filter and fuel filter are a purflux or UFI ? the shop says there are 2 types. so they dont know which one. please can someone help and tell me which oil and fuel filters to buy and if possible where..

When I was unsure I bought the 2 and returned the wrong one and kept a note of the correct one for future reference. My 2006 multijet was a purflex oil filter.

No I don't. IMO it's there for a reason so I fitted the cheaper one of the two from euro car parts and it have no trouble in the 2 years I had it. But saying that I did give it a good de-coke with my right foot every week!

The EGR recirculated exhaust gas at low power levels so the exhaust is less sooty. If you think there's a need to blank it off (use a blank gasket) it's likely the inlet manifold is carbon clogged.
