other than paying £60 for a pair, which is robbery. can i get the correct drop links from anywhere else?

i fitted the opposing end ones and they hit the bottom of the damper. i am pissed off as i threw away the old ones, and they werent even worn out. i just swapped them out as they are generally cheap service items.
was my fault for assuming the opposing end ones were just a new style!

any help would be appreciated as i am going on holiday to scotland next week and would like the car spot on for the 7 hour journey up there.
 
Just run the opposing ones as they only hit the damper on full lock, i've been using them for the past year on lowered koni's and i've had no problems.
The only alternative is to use whiteline or DNA adjustable drop links which are expensive and unnecessary.

When on the flat they only hit on full lock, but if you are at any sort of angled gradient they make an awful noise. If something is rubbing metal to metal, it's not right.

I have just purchased some as I can't find any other options cheaply or quickly. Fiat wanted £43 each so I put the phone down and went elsewhere!
 
Silly question. Can the drop link arm be bent in the middle by a few degrees so it doesn't foul the suspension?

That thought crossed my mind. However, on a standard car you could introduce a different preload onto the arb which would wear the bushes quicker.
Also, the bend in the link would be a flex point so the arb wouldn't be as effective. The mot inspector might not like the look of a bent drop link either!

New droplinks arrived today. Even though they cost a fortune they don't even come with new nuts!!!
