I need to replace both lower suspension arms on my Panda 1.2 8V Active that has covered 42k since new in 2011.

I am planning to buy Original Birth named parts (manufactured in Italy to OEM quality) instead of genuine Fiat parts because the price of genuine is outrageous!

Has anyone experience of fitting these and will they tell me what their opinion is please?

I may use Lemforder wishbones but the important issue is quality.
Thanks in advance for your comments

They're fitted to my Panda for a few months now. Eliminated all knocking I had with the beat drop links I had on before.

Still working well, I got them from Shop4Parts with the discount code. Very easy to fit, only fiddly since its under the wheel arch. I will post a photo of mines after it was fitted, we also bought Top Line shocks from S4P - also Italian made OEM matched quality. They also were a great fit and are doing a stellar job.

Some great info on here, threads by me and others where various members have answered virtually any question you may have but if you need any info keep posting :)

I take it you mean the wish bones / track control arms? I find the cheaper makes have a soft rubber rear bush in them causing movement and inner tyre wear. Bumble failed it's mot when (not birth) they had only been on 3 months due to the movement. The garage fitted Delphi ones and passed it although the same movement is still there on the Delphi. I was not happy. But I discovered from this forum that you can get a poly bush for a 500 that fits to stop this. Powerflex bushes, part number PFF16-502

I bought track rod ends for my Brava from S4P a few years ago, they were supposed to be Birth but one was from another supplier... it looked inferior, the Birth stuff is good. In fact the other one failed fairly quickly...

Even the Fiat factory stuff on 500s and Pands seems very flimsy, you haven't done many miles but I suppose age is a factor and the number of speedbumps you go over, etc. I did my Brava wishbones a while back, again using S4P, and everything I fitted is still good.

Lemforder are a good make in my book, still going strong years later the wishbones on my diesel hack. Original Birth are deemed to be good quality as well, reviews are good.
