Hi I am having trouble with my remote key which is fine for locking the car and the tailgate but will not unlock the car. Before someone says try a new battery,I have and no difference. Is it a bit like Tv remotes that need taking apart and the contacts cleaning and if so how does it come apart? Any help would be appreciated as I believe a replacement can be expensive.

Mine stopped working because the solder on the click button under the rubber had cracked. Fixed it by re-soldering. The screw to take the remote apart is under the Fiat logo.

Hi thanks for the info.Followed it and had exactly the same problem,although the complete button had come adrift but was able to resolder,many thanks.Sesentados
