OK guys I've read through the koni thread and know you need drop links that both face the same way. I was browsing eBay to see what I could see and I came across these.

They seem to be what is needed to work with koni shocks. I have h&r lowering springs aswell and these state they are for lowered cars.
Anyone used them before?

I've got Koni's and I use the normal ones that face both ways, they only hit the shock tube on full lock and they've passed an mot no problems so why pay triple for the original ones just because shop4parts are the only ones who sell them and can get away with it, they can get stuffed... the standard ones work fine and have done for thousands of miles on mine.:)(y)

Awesome cheers for that. Euros have a 25% sale on ATM so I'm just Gunna order the standard ones. Which way round do you have yours? Facing towards the engine at the top or the bottom? Or will the only go one way? Cheers again for the help.

Cheers guys. Lems ordered collecting and hopefully fitting on Saturday. Hopefully this will stop the anjoyig clicking over bumps.

If it doesn't it'll be the bottom ball joints/wishbone bushes, that and the drop links are the two main culprits with rattling 100hp suspension.

Excellent cheers . Is it easier to just replace the whole wishbone or can you replace the bushes easy enough? The cars done 96k miles so it probably needs a bit of tlc.

It's certainly easier; changing the bushes individually really needs a hydraulic press and you've still got to take the wishbones off.

I once changed a bush on a wishbone to save £30 by carefully cutting it out with a dremel & chisel and using a heavy duty vice to press the new one in; it took most of an afternoon and I swore never to do it again without access to an engineering workshop with the proper press tooling.

Yeah that's what I thought. I done the wishbones on my multi and that was pretty easy so I can only imagine the panda will be easier.
Thanks again guys.

As JRK said the bushes can be changed but the bottom ball joint comes as part of the wishbone and that's usually the bit that wears and rattles, changing the wishbone is very easy and relatively cheap too.

Done the whole lot in an afternoon yesterday. Still making a bloody annoying clicking noise over bumpy roads though.

No I haven't done them. The strange thing is you can bounce the car up and down as much as you want when it is stationary and it doesn't make a single click. Drive over a bump at more than 10mph and click click click. Looked at the top mounts and bounced the car up and down and I can't see any (unwanted) movement in them.

Not being patronising but you did tighten everything up properly?
Failed top mounts usually rattle or make the steering feel odd when going lock to lock so it sounds like something isn't settled in its correct position or just loose.

Not taken in a patronising way at all. The clicking noise was there before I changed the links and wishbone. It's still there now. After putting everything back together and taking for a test drive it was still clicking. It is literally a click noise like someone clicking there fingers. I then retightened every nut and bolt I could find around the front suspension. I loosened off the front shocks as they seemed to be on their stiffest setting now they are on 1 turn from full soft. Doing all of this seems to have reduced the clicking but it is still there. Maybe the shocks have busted where they were set so stiff? I've only had the car a couple weeks so who knows how long it was being driven around on full stiff.
Again thanks for the help.
