hello
got my panda 56 1.1 model couple of months ago running like a dream until this week which has coincided with car not being used for a week whilst I was off sick. doesn't happen all the time but seemed to relate to engine warning light popping out and intermittent slight judder, cut out of engine mainly when the car slowing down in low gear though did happen at 40 mph in fifth today when cruising. any idea what this might be, it's strange the warning light doesn't stay on, no issues starting but its a bit worrying
thanks

anyone able to shed any light on this... still happening prob bit more now sometimes cuts out on corners but fine when restarts im led to believe may be faulty crankshaft sensor, cheap to replace as they easy to fit, cant really tae to garage as the engine light doesnt stay on

always starts fine, happened twice on way to work engine light on when decelerating but did not cut out just juddered intermittently, would this suggest that it is not the battery? anyone know how much crank shaft sensor would cost to fix if that is the issue, it's very odd

ahh not familiar with these valves I'm afraid how would I check them? worth a risk for 30 quid if its known issue, where will I find it, is it just lifting up the bonnet for crankshaft sensor and looking near the engine?
thanks again

thanks the valve tip read up about it similar symptoms 86k mileage on 2008 car I have so may be that will bring out the wd40 tonight

any kind person know where i will the thing i need to clean the butterflyh valve i've looked and it all seems really close together and theres a big black hood with a filter inside too

There is quite a common misfire-cutting out issue with some 1.1's due to a wiring fault with the loom.

Quite often they throw injector or ignition fault codes like P0202 and P0351.
Trouble is these codes need repeated events in the same drive cycle to log a management light, so you don't always get the problem flagged up on the dash.

A good read of this might be a good idea.

great tip this seems to be the problem with the loom its a 1.1 as well think i need to hire auto leccy

Hi I drive a 2006 1.2 4x4 and from time to time it does the same, I have tried various things which together solved this issue, but I came to one I now do after say 2 years with this on and off. I spray contact cleaner in the connections of the ECU next to the battery (and neg of battery)and let it dry as it's flame able connect it back with Huge success every time!

That's my input regarding this
