Hi there, looking for a bit of help.....brought a 1.1 panda 3 months ago ,had issues with bad misfire (running on 2 cylinders )..Had ecu tested all ok ,.replaced both coil packs and leads...started to run fine then had a small blip which put engine light on...checked this & was map related ...took out map sensor and cleaned , all ok apart from I now get a few hiccups & engine light flashes on then off....seems to be mostly when I go over speed humps when i decelerate but always at low speed. ...Car runs fine when driving about at higher speeds....thinking maybe a loose connection ? Any ideas would be really appreciated. ...cheers Dean...

1.1's are know to have an issue with the wiring loom causing problems with drivability and engine management

Thanks for the replys....Mine is a 2008 1.1 active with 80k on the clock , cheers Dean

Just read the thread on the wiring fault & does sound very much like my symptoms although not had an injector fault code....will try wiggling my wires when home next week....i am also not getting any fault codes stored at the moment , just the hiccup and a quick flash of engine light ....thanks again for your replys ,dean

Had half hour this weekend wiggling wiring around ecu to engine ,but did"nt get any hiccup....Although i beleive its a wiring or connector fault....may have to book it in with auto electrician...
