Can any body suggest a cause for the following ?
When starting up from cold my 2004 1.1 42000 mile panda active, runs rough for about 10 to 15 seconds. I can tell it is only firing on 3 cyclinders
After this 10 to 15 second period, it runs fine, ticks over ok and pulls ok.
I am thinking it my be a sign there is a problem with the coil packs?
Anybody had a similar problem or can offer any advise please

Coil packs or HT leads failing will give these symptoms, but should also struggle under load, so are worth checking.

My first check would be the spark plugs. At about that mileage, mine became reluctant to start. New plugs transformed it.

Check the connections to the coils, and check the HT leads, they are worth changing, but get good name ones, not the universal select a length from an accessory shop.

It could be the dreaded 1.1 coil signal wire breaking down.

The 1.1's have an odd fault with the wiring loom to the coils, there's a loose wiring joint in the loom somewhere and can lead to what appear coil problems, with rough running, cutting out and various knock, ignition and injection DTCs.
