My most expensive repair is pending.....!!
It's in a garage with suspected timing chain tensioner failure.

My most expensive repair is head gasket/head shim £368.27. Nast sick feeling came over me when I heard that the head went. I have to admit I thought it was going to be more expensive than that.

£500 for a timing chain kit, alternator belt and oil and filter change. Just before Christmas aswell, grrrrr!

Mine was £2500 on a chrysler grand voyager. New injectors and new alternator all at the same time.

£250 to have the alternator replaced on my Grande Punto 1.4 8v.

Not assure if my recent £3,881 accident repair counts....

Came close to it - and it was only a bumper.

was it a gold plated bumper

I suppose if claims are being counted, mine came to something similar when my car was hit by a shower of stones being badly aimed at a bus. I just remember thinking what was that when the first one hit and then wtf I'm getting out of here when another got my skydome. Luckily I had the blind across or I would have been covered in glass. Needed the skydome replaced including the mechanism, a new front bumper and a wing repair. That took over a month!!!
