Here are some pics of the module and cables in place...
The connections required for the CAN Bus system are an Orange wire to the Switched 12V Ignition and Blue & Blue/White wires to Pins 6 & 14 on the OBDII Socket (hence the lead to save soldering to the original Fiat Loom)

The Throttle T Harness was fixed to the accelerator pedal connector (you first need to remove the grey clip to be able to unplug the original conector). The CC T Harness just plugs into the pedal socket and the original Fiat connector goes into the other end and then there is one black connector that goes to the CC Module. Pretty simple really.

Then the Orange wire was connected to the IGN Switched 12V (I used a bridge clip as I didn't want to cut or solder the original)
Then I drilled some holes in the lower section of the dash (out of sight) to secure the cables going to the Module form the Stalk and IGN.

I then followed the procedure to teach the Throttle (essentially throttle at rest, 50% and flat out - with the Ignition on).

Most of the suppliers for this Kit suggest it may need a clutch switch (even though there is a OE Fiat one already fitted). This is to disengage the CC if you use the clutch to stop the engine over-revving.

I took the car for a drive and all seems normal as before. I tried the cruise control and it worked but engaged when I used the Cancel on the stalk. I think the Command Module needs initialising to restore factory settings - but I have to try this to confirm.

It also needs an additional Clutch Switch as it does rev up if you push down the clutch a little. (I have bought one from EBay and will be fitting shortly.)

But all looks promising and no CAN Bus gremlins.

I got the AP900C unit (from France on a Gumtree style website) 2nd hand but unused. The Stalk and T Harness I got from the States and was less than 1/2 price for the same here. The OBDII Lead was about £6. The Clutch switch was £8. So in total ending up being about £120 which I think is ok. In my searching I did find that in Eastern Europe the T Harness is about 30€ and around £50-£60 here!

Also there is an ECruise rival system that is much cheaper to buy new £240 approx. verses £380 approx for a new system like I used.

Just need to find more than a mile of open road to use it!

Cruise all sorted.
I have fitted a Microswitch for the Clutch Switch and found that I put one of the Stalk wires in the wrong position in the plug before connecting it.

With both those done it works fine.
Here is a picture of the switch (from RS). I used some of the B&Q 25mm Aluminium for a bracket.
