Hi guys and gals,
This is my first post on the forum. I really like the 100HP panda, great looks, nice bit of performance and a smidgin of rarity. Just what I want.

So I came here as I'd like to find out about anything I should be looking out for with regards issues with the little 100HP panda when I go out viewing them. Rust areas, suspension issues etc

Ideally I'm looking to pay up to 3 grand, and would like red/white or grey with <60000k on the clock plus the electric roof, pandemonium pack and the climate control (I'm pretty sure that's possible :slayer:)

Prices for 100hp's are all over the place but three grand should get you what you want although the 'skydome' roof is a little harder to find.
The pandamonium pack isn't all that special and I certainly wouldn't overlook a car without it, all UK hp's have digital climate control but make sure the heater produces warm air at the feet/face/windscreen correctly as the control mechanism can sometimes cause problems.
Service history is vital and you want to see a receipt for a cambelt/waterpump change at this mileage and make sure there are no nasty sounds from the lovely gearbox, you also want to see a good quality battery fitted as a weak/old one can cause problems with the electric power steering.
The 100hp is a very tough, well built and capable car but its a real 'marmite' car so take a good long test drive and ideally use one for a whole day if you can as many people buy them and then find out they just can't live with the hard ride on a daily basis.
Have a good look through the various threads on the forum as there is a wealth of information and advice about the 100hp and how to enjoy it.
Good luck

Excellent, thanks for the advice. I shall take a look around.

Regarding the ride, I've had various 'hot hatches' before such as Saxo, Lupo and I quite like a good tight ride. My journey to and from work involves many twisting roads which I think would be a hoot in the 100HP :)
