Been lurking for a while but now I've officially bought a car i thought i would sign up and say hello.

Wife wanted something 'small and 5 door', i wanted her to have something remotely interesting and so we ended up with a 100hp! Only had it a couple of days and can see why they have such a following, its a right giggle to drive!

Forum has been very useful so far for information, Oil and Filters changed last night, cleaned it this morning and its in for a cambelt on Friday. Will drop some new dampers, different bumpstops on it and switch the current budget ditchfinders for something a little stickier at some point too.

Ordered new front and rear badges last, as cool as the Arbarth badge is... well its just not an arbarth is it

Will no doubt be cropping up with some stupid questions in the future!

Looks cool! I have too just purchased a 100HP for exactly the same reason, my wife hates my caddy pickup and will no longer drive it. If you are getting shot of the badges, i know someone who would take them off your hands...

This is my new toy! I’m a massive VW fan. Nothing but Vdub until i saw this little guy! Wow. So much fun to drive.
