Not quite hum -- my love of alliteration got the better of me.

Today, when I switched the climate control on, I noticed a noise -- a sort of whirring noise -- coming from behind the glove compartment. I think it may be pump- or air filter-related but really that's just a hunch.

Any ideas?

PS: I really love my 09 plate 100HP with 40k on the clock bought 2nd hand approx 30 months ago. It brings me joy on a daily basis.

I think I had something similar until I got an air con regas for £19 today - apparently it only had 115g out of the 500g it should have had, and I think it has cured the whirring.

Yes, a regas & associated air con service sorted it.

Cost me £35.00 from a nearby specialist rather than the £70.00 quoted by my local Fiat dealer.
