OK Have a Panda 2006 whose remote key has been long lost.
Does anyone know what does it look like a Panda remote key from 2006?

Like this?

I only have the spare key which looks like the top left in this picture

I have replaced the blue logos with the red ones on this car. It would be nice to have the remote of the same colour.
I have been to FIAT and they don't know if a new remote key with red logo would work with my car or not (no comment)
Basically they don't know if there is any difference between the old one with blue and the new one with red... except the colour.

Any help whatsoever? :(

My main (remote) key looks like the one in your first pic. The spare key is like the one top left, as yours, in the multi-pic.

Most replacement keys on Ebay seem to be the black ones, but sometimes blue ones appear. Older cars with a red key are likely to be different.

Replacement keys, like the first pic, often come empty, just the outer shell, expecting you to transfer over the internal components for the remote and the immobiliser. You'll need to find one that is full, just needing cloning. The remote part can be programmed to the car, I think there is a sequence in the handbook, but this may not be correct, it may need the dealer to program it. The immobiliser chip can be cloned from the spare you have at many branches of Timpsons. Other locksmiths may also do it.

Thank you both.

FIAT quoted me 140(key)+30(reprogramming)+50(lost code card). Does it sound fair? No one else seems to be able to do any of these.

It's lower than some others have been quoted but £50 for the code is asking a bit much. Try Timpsons if you have one near you.

I have just been getting a second key for my wife sedici, I found the cheapest way was to buy a blank shell with blank blade, a second hand or replacement remote fob, and the correct transponder chip for the car, which u can probably find his research and taking the one out of your existing key. So far comes to £25 for the bits, well be £5 to cut, plus about £30 to programme the transponder I think, should be under £60 for the lot, less if I wanted a non remote key. Programming the remote fob is usually easy, YouTube is always my first port of call .

Thanks agavin.

Of course I can buy an empty shell on ebay such as this
http://www.ebay.it/itm/Guscio-Cover...r-FIAT-PANDA-DUCATO-PUNTO-STILO-/281380472321

But then who would do the job on the blank blade? Certainly not FIAT where you either pay their price or nothing.

I don't have any chip, the original key has been lost. However I paid FIAT 210 and I will have a remote this friday...
Of course any help to duplicate a new remote will be welcome.

Hi Andy, most good key cutters should be able to cut it, it is a side cut I believe so check before you travel. You can but the chip for £5 on flea bay, or if you don't want another remote fob, an entire blank key with chip can be yours for under £20 :)
Not programmed the panda fobs yet, but sure it can be done, maybe some one else on here can assist on that, or a good hunt on the inter web should find something, good luck Aus

andy1 does your car even have RCL? What spec is it?

Good shout.

What model is it? Pointless struggling to create a remote key if the car does not have it.

Lowest models had manual locks.
Mid range had central locking from the key in the door. But RCL was an option on some. Does anyone know how to recognise one with RCL without the key? There must be a receiver/relay, just need to know what and where.
Top models had RCL as standard.

I am sure there is...
I already paid FIAT and this afternoon they are going to program the new remote.

It is called Panda 1.3 Multijet Emotion

Emotion is what they call Eleganza on the British Isle(s);)

I like that name best (Eleganza) :)
I got a remote finally!!!
It's like the first pic I posted, black with blue logo. MED5000 is back in working order too! It only needed a remote.
Car almost ready to visit the Isle(s) ;)

I seem to remember the code card had two codes, an electronic code and a mechanical code

FIAT only gave me an electronic code with 5 digits.

What is the mechanical code for?
Does Eleganza have immobilizer?
