Hey guys,

I picked up this lovely white 100hp on Friday as a replacement for my dead turbo Volvo.

These Pandas are cracking little cars I'm very pleased with it, ultimately not as fast as my old car but as whole package it's brilliant.

Does anyone know if fiat ever made a strut brace for the Panda or the 500 if parts are compatible?

Cheers

Congratulations on purchasing the fastest colour.

I think we have seen strut braces added on here before - worth trying a search on the forum, though they're not hugely popular, unlike Koni shocks.

As for speed, there's always going to be something faster than you. Very few things give you as big a grin as the 100hp though.

I too picked mine up on Saturday, lovely car, think I looked at yours prior to you buying....lovely

Had mine 6 weeks now....loving it!

Summer (ha!) wheels and tyres going back on soon....I hope....

well it's faster then your one as it doesn't have a panoramic roof !!!! Just messing as you know I'm jealous I don't have one.

but yeah welcome to the club.

I've had mine a year and not even thinking of replacing it. it's a brilliant package. if I stuffed mine I'd probably look for another.

Its cheap as chips to run too. Only let down by firm ride and high road tax !!!

And also the subwoofer........

I need to swap back to summer tyres now. Then it'll not handle like an excited dog on polished lino.

I know the feeling. I have winter contacts and they are brilliant in freezing wet conditions but once temp rises they are very odd. sidewall to squidgey too.

allows are booked in for refurb and about to order rainsports in 195/50/15 but there are two types. don't know which to order

You can get front strut braces from OMP and top and bottom ones from DNA racing although you'll need a second mortgage to pay for them, personally I would have thought the last thing anyone would want is a stiffer 100HP... Ahhhh

Plus I have the autochanger and the rubber boot liner, do I win heaviest? :p

Yes white ones are the best. (y)

Up until today I'd have said yes - yours is heaviest. However, I have now returned to summer tyres, which are on my Punto Sporting wheels. These are made of alloy (unlike the Panda 100hp ones which are made of silver chewing gum) thus mine now weighs more.

The strut brace discussion is way back in the mists of time but there's very little room for a worthwhile brace and nothing to be gained.
