Can anyone please help me understand whether this is a termic rear view mirror plate or not?

Termic presumably means 'heated' - I see no heating element connectors on this one - few Mk3 Pandas had heated mirrors.

Mine looks more like the one he calls thermic IMO but I am confused as to the difference between the two.

Yours is the non-'termic' one; if you look closely at the left hand side of the picture of the 'termic' glass in the second link you posted, you will see the two connecting terminals for the heating wires, which your glass does not have.
