You should try swapping the one on an X type.
They've shoehoned a V6 in the wrong way, it's motor is tranverse, so one sensor is up again the rad at the front, the other against the bulkhead at the rear.
Like I said before, they can be a real pain to get out and a decent tool is usually needed.
