Technical VERY bumpy ride

Thank you for all the helpful input folks. Been rather busy so not had the time to check in on here.
I finally had time to check the tyre pressures. I could not believe what I found.......
I bought this car from a Fiat main dealer who claim they gave it a full service before I collected it. Shoudl I have suspected to find the following???

Front tyre pressures 51 psi
Rear tyre pressures 57 psi

Now that I have set them correctly, it has transformed the ride. It feels like a car that has gone from solid to pneumatic tyres!!!

I'm still suffering with monumental backache though, so fear it will still have to go.

Wow they must have been rock solid! I personally prefer to check my tyre pressures myself. I've seen tyre centres set the pressure somewhat higher than I requested in the past. When I get my tyres changed, I usually will adjust the pressures when I get home and have let the tyres cool.
