Can anyone help !!!!!!
I'm desperate to get a Panda before the 0% runs out, but the dealer in town says you can't get a deisel right hand drive with aircon or climate. Another dealer 20 miles away says I can have itwith climate control.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO'S CORRECT !!!!!!!!!

According to the brochure, you can get the Multijet with aircon for an extra £500 or climate control for an extra £700.

The Fiat website shows that the 0% finance is available on the Panda Multijet.

It maybe, that as the 0% finance has to be taken out by the end of Sept, there are no pre-built cars in the country that have aircon - that they can get to you by the deadline.

drive-the-deal.co.uk is offering one with aircon for £6993 (if ordered before 30th Sept)

cheers creamola !
It felt like the salesman in the first place was trying to steer me away from a deisel ( he also said -as well as no aircon available- that i couldn't have a deisel before january)
Is 'drive the deal' a place you can trust ???
( also is the quote for first owner or pre - reg?)

I thought that, but the salesman specifically said ' they can't fit aircon on a right hand drive panda' ......
The more I think about it , the more I think he was telling me porkies! (n)
Trying to get a diesel out of him was like :bang:

There is a simple way to check for sure - call Fiat Customer Services on 0845 6066619.

As to Drive-the-deal, they are just a broker who puts you in contact with a Fiat dealer who is prepared to sell at that price. All your subsequent dealings are then with that dealer.

Do keep us updated on how you get on.

The first dealer is talking horse-sh!t. It is clear he had a batch of cars he wanted to sell you, and none of them were multijets with air ;)

My colleague has bought a 206 1.1 Zest because the dealer told her the 1.4 couldn't be delivered in time. I say she just bought it; she actually purchased in at the end of July for a September delivery. So Peugeot can't make a 1.4 Zest in the space of 10 weeks? Rubbish.

p.s. Drive the Deal are a well-renowned company with a v. good reputation

first up, 0% finance has been around for years... in 1997 I bought my Cinq on it and its has never gone since then at least. second, I wanted to order a Seicento in 2000, and was told I could only have yellow, I asked what about red or black and they said no way... they talk such crap sometimes. Be firm and dont let them mess you about, if unhappy walk away and go elsewhere.

I had a similar problem ordering a Diesel Panda with the Skydome pack... Local dealer insisted that I couldn't have the pack, just the Skydome. I wanted the side-rubbing strips, roof bars and front fog lights (Wanted my new car to look the part). Finally went into the local dealership and insisted that the dealer log into the Fiat website. Made him click on all the options I wanted which came up ok, and then told him to go order it for me! (y) Dealerships just don't seem to know their own products these days. Don't forget when you're ordering your new Panda to order a lockable fuel cap. The dealership tried to charge me an extra £270 for a locking fuel cap on the day I went to pick mine up and noticed the laughable non-locking variety... Needless to say I bought an after-market one... Not so concerned about getting fuel siphoned as much as some muppet dropping something into my fuel tank!

Cheers Sphink !
Have you got a picture I could show 'em?
Also what dealer did you get it from ?
(then I could either go there or tell my local dealer that he's talking b****x becuase I know somewhere that sells them.

You'll get little joy with that. From Sphink's details you can see that he/ she lives in Singapore so I doubt they used Arnold Clark or someone like that :D

Update...
They changed their minds (?)
I can have one and it's been ordered.

Yup, you're right. Bought it in Singapore where everybody's driving the right hand drive version for all cars. But the point is, right hand drive version do have air cond installed unless there are a few factory's around the world manufacturing Fiat according to their own specs. cheers..

Not always the case though sphink as there is a difference between what is possible and what is offered.

In Singapore the Punto GT (RHD of course) had Air Con as standard where as in the UK it wasn't available, even as an option ;)

The important think with the Panda Multijet is that UK price lists show the A/C being an option, so the dealer was full of the brown stuff.
