Does anybody know where I can lay my hands on a pair of the larger wing mirrors that are fitted to the newer models of the Panda. I would like to change mine as the factory fits that are on my 2004 1.1 Panda, are the worst thing about the car. Also , my 17 year old daughter will be having driving lessons in it and I think she would benefit from the larger mirrors!
Thanks, in advance.

I have a NS mirror you can have. Due to mindless vandalism 6 months ago my drivers mirror was snapped off and it was cheaper to go for the smaller type as a pair than buy one unit. Whereabouts are you?

I am in Manchester. However since I posted my question, I have found a car spares website of a company based in Bulgaria, https://www.tarostrade.com/ that is selling the larger wing mirrors for £55 a pair (manual ones) that price includes delivery. It offers you the options to pay by Paypal, so I am tempted to give it a go?

People in the Classic Panda section have used this company before & rate them as good parts suppliers. (y)

Palio,
Do you know what they are like on delivery times?

This keeps coming up.

Be careful. Fiat list different mirrors for LHD and RHD. This is because form the other seat, the mirror body is set at a different angle.

Using a LHD mirror on a RHD car may work, but you might run out of adjustment before you get a good view. A bigger view of more car, is not useful.

Before ordering, ensure these are RHD spec mirrors. This is unlikely unless stated.

No, not as yet, had a few other expenses come up. Are you thinking of doing the same?

possibly at some point, but like you unfortunately finances aren't accommodating at the moment :p just wondering if taros had told whether they were Ltd or rhd. I probably won't get round to it at least until the new year :) let me know if you manage it!

Ok, Update for anyone who may be interested.
Have taken the plunge and decided to order a pair of the larger 2012 model wing mirrors from the Bulgarian website Tarostrade at a cost of £49.09.
Placed the order this morning.
Will let you know when they arrive, the quality and fit etc etc....

Final update...... the DOOR mirrors arrived on Tuesday 9th December via UPS (ordered on Monday 1st December) pretty good service from Bulgaria. Anyway, for anybody who may be considering the change, I would highly recommend buying from this company and at a great price for the 2, £49.00!
Swapped them over with the smaller ones, both sides, in roughly 20 mins. One slight snag , you will have to file the plastic opening on the interior trim cover, for the small adjustment arm to fit thru.Only very slightly, not a big job. The mirrors look great and no more looking thru a letter box to see whats looming up along side of you.

Thank for keeping us updated. They were cheap indeed.

Did they come with new "fat screw rings"? My Eurocarparts ones didn't and they were a pig to get off.

Thanks for keeping us informed, very interested in doing this now :) are the angles of the mirrors hindered or are they right hand drive mirrors?

They are fine, no problem with angles as far as I can see, excuse the pun.
