Sorry all I have been away for a while. I was struggling health wise at Stanford Hall with my back and over the months health and medication sent me to far off places. I found myself in Stoke, where a very clever man fixed me!

So my tax is up at the end of this month what are you lot going to put in your old tax disk holders?
Surly not remove them?

Sorry if this has been done before but I was on medication that made most quacks run....
 
Sounds like you've had a tough time and it's good you're out the other side. :)

I think my tax disc holder will come off. It's always annoyed me how the dealer put it on lopsided with the top not quite sticking right. Do we still have to display the MoT one?

Mind you, the Midlands Italia tax disc replacement card sounds interesting :chin:.

We don't have a MOT sticker in England. Tell me more...! :D

You can have black-on white... :chin:

Yes, I believe in NI the MOT disc still needs displaying.

The whole plan is a f**king con, the amounts that the gov will skim off if you sell anywhere but the end of the month, they'll get it twice, once off you and again off the new owner!

I guess someone needs to pay for all the cycle superhighways Boris has planned.
£40 million plus they reckon they'll spend on the North/South route and another £25 million on the Whitecapel update and you but get that sort of money from the VAT on Lycra shorts!

God knows where those who pay for the roads are going to drive, they've already given the buses more than half the road, now the rest for cyclists!

Hah -good point. I did wonder what all the road works were on our local bypass. Spanking new cycle lane. Nice.


Let's all get on our bikes and see how they balance the books with VAT off energy bars and bib shorts versus VAT on £10000 cars.........

Yes we in Norn Iron have to display an MoT disc as well as the tax disc. It's the same size as the tax disc btw.

We're not so bad though. South of the border, they have to display tax disc, NCT disc (equivalent of Mot) and insurance as well!
 
I have found a nice picture of a Panda with attitude to put in the holder to represent my feelings on the matter grrrr!
Nice to be back bouncing again....
