Hi,

I need to replace the front brake discs and pads on my 2012 Panda 1.2 (model code 169).

When searching various spare part websites, it appears that this model might have either Bendix or Bosch brakes.

Is there an easy way to identify this prior to taking the brakes apart, so I can order the correct parts in advance?

Thanks for your advice!

The bosch type pads have round end's, Bendix type have square end's (by that I mean when the pad is in place in the carrier you would be looking at the top and bottom of the pad itself). Hope that helps!

Are you sure?

The EuroCarParts website suggests it's the other way round - Bendix with round ends, and Bosch with square ends.

FWIW, I've just done my own 2010 1.2 Panda & mine were the round-ended type pads. I used Pagid discs & pads from ECP - a few pennies over £40 for both. They went in without issue & work just fine (y).
