Hi

I am planning on servicing my Panda myself this time (oil, plugs, filters) but i need to know how to reset the service indicator, if i buy one of those engine diagnostic machines (£15) will it work?

I have asked several ebay stores some say they will some say they wont.

Only way to reset Fiat service indicator is at the dealer, or with a licensed version of MES (MultiECUScan) http://www.multiecuscan.net/ (See many other threads on this subject.) Licensed version costs €50.
Many of us have said this before. Update your profile to show your location, someone near you with a licensed version may be willing to plug in and reset it.

If it is not reset does it stop nagging you after a while?

In case anyone searches this topic, for reference the Delphi DS150e "clones" as sold on eBay for about £40 will reset the service interval indicator amongst many other useful functions. I would however suggest some research on Google and YouTube in order to successfully install and operate the software.
