I've just returned to my 2006 panda after a week in the sun. The drivers side footwell was saturated. All other areas were dry. Any ideas where it could be getting in? Door seals fine and windows close ok. Thanks in advance.

Check coolant level is ok, thus ruleing out a leaking heater matrix within the dash.

Also ensure the 2 drain points in the scuttle are not blocked causing the water to fill and then enter the car. The 2 drain points / tubes are under the scuttle by the bulk head (y)

Glad it was an easy fix and nothing major - now to dry the footwell :)

from experience.. :(

if the carpets WET then - the soundproofing matting under it will be sopping..:bang:

best to undo plastic Sill trim,
lift up carpet,
and feel all along the ("tunnel" in centre of car ),

if it's all soaking wet,

you can tear the matting in a large square "tile",
and pull it out and let it drip dry.. this will take DAYS..!!,
so you can imagine it'll NEVER dry out efficiently under the carpet:(

It stands Monday to Friday at work so hopefully it's warm so it dries it out. Glad it was only drivers side. So ladies and gents check your drain holes !!
