Just been offered a lightly damaged 2005 4x4 as salvage - it has damage to the N/S front wing, headlamp and worryingly lower suspension arm.
Is this best avoided - or do lower arms bend relatively easily in an impact ?
Not at all interested if this needs jigging etc.

The lower are wouldn't be a problem, wishbones aren't expensive, but you'd need to inspect what the arm bolts too, ie the subframe and the chassis "leg"
If twisted, you'd never aligned it properly and it would need replacing.

If the chassis leg is twisted, they can be straightened, but it's not something most would be comfortable with.

If the front wheel has taken the brunt, then you'd need to check the steering rack and mounts, driveshaft and gearbox casing too.
